So…
My Chinese skills are apparently better than I thought, although I think I still might have managed to get myself into a very awkward situation…
…and I might be on a Taiwanese TV show at some point in the near future…here’s what happened:
I was working on a project after my Chinese class at NTNU when two girls walked up and asked me and my classmate if we spoke Chinese, and then if we knew how to sing any Chinese songs. I told them I knew one (西風的話/Whisper of the West Wind…..thanks a lot, Super Junior), and then a lot of Chinese and English was exchanged between the three of us, they recording me singing the song and took a few pictures, asked for my phone number and Chinese name, and then said something about inviting me to a TV program (I think?) and that they would call me about it later.
Great.
I have no idea what the hell I got myself into.
